The wine displays firm and intensely concentrated bouquet of well-ripened berry fruits, notes of spices and cedar and earthy chocolate nuances. This single-vineyard Pinot Gris was grown on Omihi Clays in the beautiful Waipara Valley. The wine displays waxy notes, with nectarine, honey, spice and mandarin peel. The palette has expressive mouth-filling textures and shows good length, combined with a refreshing citrus finish.
All fruit for this wine is grown at Dallington Downs Estate on Omihi clays in the Waipara Valley. Our Pinot noir was hand-harvested and carefully crafted by Theo Coles. It has a vibrant berry aroma. The fruit for this wine was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels.
